Bicol Fashion Week Wave 2

It's Bicol Week once again! This 5-day event will showcase different world class Bicolano fashion designers who did not only penetrate the Philippine Fashion Industry with their talent and artistry, but were also able to make it internationally. This event aims to inspire young fashion designers to do the same. Also, this event aims to promote the very promising industry of fashion and modelling in our region, thus recognizing the professionals in different fields of fashion. 

Fashion bizarre, Fashion Party, Inauguration of the newly formed Association of Bicolano Models (ABM), Fashion shows showcasing the different designers of Bicolandia are some of the hot events that are coming your way this upcoming Bicol Fashion Week. Events will be held at several key locations in Naga and Legaspi on September 5 to 9, 2013. 

One of the acclaimed Bicolano designers that will be joining us for the Bicol Fashion Week is Miss Zandra Lim-Imasa. Miss Zandra is a native of Tigaon, Camarines Sur who graduated at the University of Sto. Tomas with a degree in B.S. Pharmacy. Who would have thought she would pursue a career in fashion given she was also establishing a career in the pharmaceutical world? In 2003, inspired by a unique vision, she established her first atelier. With the lessons she learned from her study stint in Istituto di Moda Burgo in Milan, Italy where she took Fashion Design, she seriously spends time in designing for women that exude elegance and utters couture. She also took a course in Textile Effects at the University of the Arts, London-Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design, as part of her continuous effort to better her craft.

What I noticed and loved about her designs is its intricate details. Her designs are every girl's dream wedding gown. It makes you look like you've come out of a fairy tale book. I would love to wear a gown designed by her someday! *wishful thinking*

You know this gown has been thoroughly worked on when you see its back detail. 

This gown is so.. pure and dreamlike. My favorite part is the shimmery detail of the gown. 

I am head over heels with this gown! The sheer back with the flowery details.. this is perfection. 

What I liked most about this one is its simplicity and elegance.
